Theoretical classes target primarily those who are starting practicing Ashatnga yoga. Usually, a theoretical workshop lasts 2 days and covers the following: explanation of udjayi breathing, drishti (gazing), internal ‘locks’ (bandhas), as well as a detailed overview of correct performance of asanas. 

Every participant is show an asana variation that suits his/her current level of practice. 

Theoretical classes may also be useful for experienced practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge.
