Led-class is a class during which students perform the given sequence of asanas simultaneously, following the count of the teacher who sets the common tempo by calling out asana names and counting vinyasas.
During the Led-class the teacher does not correct (adjust) students.
The Led-class is usually considered somewhat less difficult (especially, for beginners) because the teacher takes control over part of the practice (calls out the correct sequence of asanas, stresses inhales and exhales, reminds students about the correct drishti (gazing point) in asanas, etc.)
Led-class is an excellent opportunity for students to ‘tap’ into the energy of the teacher and the group.
Traditionally, Led-classes are practiced on Sundays and Fridays, giving students a chance to start and finish their weekly practice with their teacher.
